pagi yang sengal buat seorang penjawat awam berjantina perempuan 2
Tajuk entri ni saya CILOK dari blog sahabat saya, di mana dia juga mengalami situasi yg sama seperti saya. Dan kejadian yang menimpanya hanya beberapa hari berbeza dengan saya. Ketika saya membaca entri yg ditulis olehnya pada 5 Ogos lalu, hati saya terdetik... 'ciannye kak je...' Mintak dijauhkan situasi sebegini berlaku pada saya... Dan pada pagi yang Sengal itu : i. Saya bangun + bersiap awal daripada biasa. Kebiasaannya saya akan keluar rumah >< pukul 7.10am. Tp pagi tu saya rasanya saya keluar agak awal. Rasanya belum pukul 7 lagi. Sebabnya saya hendak singgah ke pertonas dulu, mahu penuhkan tangki NGV kereta yang dah merah meternya kerana saya sudah berjanji dgn teman sepejabat utk menghantar dia ke LCCT tengahari itu. Jadi saya tidak mau kesuntukan masa terkejar2 utk mengisi NGV nanti. ii. Pagi2 lagi saya dah panaskan enjin keta + rasanya semuanya ok. Mula2 kereta saya terberhenti betul2 di depan traffic light. Pain management is still an issue. I'm no longer on Percocet ... now I'm on Vicodin. I sleep lots. I don't feel loaded which makes me realize that pain killers, when needed to kill pain, have no recreational side effects at all so my history of drug addiction isn't a concern right now. I don't remember days really well. In fact, I'm forgetting whole conversations, etc. I'm lucid for about an hour after taking a pain killer and then the Sandman comes and drops a couple of tons of magic sleeping dust on me. I'm out for about two hours which leaves the pain another hour to get good and unbearable before I can take another Vicodin. The pain is gradually changing and it's the drain site that hurts, not the incision site. That's the best way to describe it ... it's changing. For the most part, the right side of my face and my right ear are both numb to the touch. It's an odd, odd feeling. It's kinda like coming home from the dentist. Having your jaw / face numb? Been...
